Obviously exaggerated ideas, the construction time-cost-benefit ratio is negative in most cases. Some ideas are not well evaluated and may present flaws.

These would fail any building inspection or home loan inspection.The storage under the stairs may be legal in some states but it is a fire hazard to store combustible materials due to the stairs may be the only way out of say, a basement.

As a licensed architect I cringe when I see things like stairs made out of pallets: pallets are made out of junk wood, doubt they are safe, and know they would not be code compliant as shown.

If you enter a building with these, stay on the ground floor or leave, your life may depend on it.There was a bunch of young adults in California who all died in a fire when the staircase they had built out of shipping platforms caught fire. It was the only way out.

The pallet stairs is a frickin’ trip & fall hazard along with a super fire hazard. Furniture & other items were make of old pallets in that nightclub fire several years ago. So many died due to the rapid combustion of the pallets.
