I’m lucky enough to have some swamp Kauri which is approx 25000 years old. Compared to this bog oak it looks freshly felled but that’s deceiving.
Put a chainsaw through it and you get the occasional spark and a very dull chain, lol.I have some strong doubts about that log being only 1 ton. I bet the stump itself is about 1 ton.
I would be saving the woodchips & sawdust from this expensive log! You could make some cool stuff with resin!
