I worked at a saw mill in. California that had a that ate entire logs in 10 seconds. One maintenance worker was working on it alone one day.
No one saw how it happened, but the biggest piece they found was around 3 piece of his plastic hardhat.
The perfect job that combines my 2 favorite things: Shredding stuff and watching things get shredded.The fact that they are putting springs in there and still hanging over the side to watch is terrifying.
The amount of tension in springs going off would be more than enough to send it through you or at least do serious damage.
I love how they reach into the shredder and stand right there as things explode.
In the states you couldn’t get within 10 feet of the intake let alone reach into it. I guess when you have a billion workers you don’t worry about having to replace one of them.
