The splitter would definitely teach you to pay attention, but still very impressive.
I often use my chainsaw to cut dimensional lumber for small projects, this is basically taking that to the next level and making a chopsaw, which can cut any kind of wood.
A little shortcut you can take is to get a harvester sprocket that is set up for your motor so no adapters are necessary.
Great work! For the splitter machine, I’d weld 2 flat bars wider face down at the near end of the top flat middle square tube to prevent the cylindrical wood to roll off Maybe you need some grinding on the push part of the machine not to interfere with the flat bars. It will be more safe that way
