Fascinating ! The amount of planning  sourcing of the transport.equipment etc and route planning and recce by the logistics company must have been huge!

And to think some idiots think you can put a truck anywhere any time you want. Not necessarily so.

I thought about getting into heavy haul when I was obtaining my Commercial Drivers License until I realized that I prefer driving at night. In just all states heavy haul is moved in the daytime and not on weekends.

I also realized that I’d rather run the weekend and be home sometime during the week. I drove for a couple of companies where I did just that.
