so I hope you have figured out a way to replace the plastic bottle inside every month or so.

Thinking quickly, Dave constructs a water bottle, using only some wood, some woodglue, a lathe, several complicated pieces of machinery, a compressed air system and a water bottle.

The fact that you refilled the bottle from another bottle is slightly hilarious.

Also, the fact that you took a break from your work to investigate the incredibly important air pressure rocket was absolutely awesome, glad you included that.

We’ve taken a perfectly reusable bottle and made a perfectly reusable bottle, plus a load of sawdust. Good work.

That is flipping amazingly beautiful. Love the design and look!

Thanks for sharing all your great techniques. The project is very interesting, the work is top tier as always, but I’ve got to say that it’s really unhealthy to reuse the tame olzskt bottle to drink because of th plastic degradation that let you drink some of its components diluted in water by time.

I love ideas like this. Reminds me of making stainless steel pens based around the pilot g2 cartridge. Making more elegant stuff out of existing stuff is awesome; hope to see more like this in the future.

Olivier, that was truly impressive! The final result looks great. What made you think of crushing the plastic bottle and using air to puff it back out once inside? Is it only glued at the top.

This is beautiful work, truly it is. I thought it was going to be a lovely lamp or a vase. I would not waste this beautiful workmanship on a plastic bottle.

Also if you are going to use it with a plastic bottle, I think you should’ve made the bottom unscrew the bottom to replace the bottle because they don’t last forever and you can’t clean it properly the way it is now.

Really don’t want to get dysentery or something else disgusting from a dirty bottle.

Also, if the plastic bottle leaks the water will turn that beautiful wood to mold on the inside and you probably wouldn’t even realize it.

Now, not to waste this beautiful bottle idea, if you could make the bottom screwable, you could use it for presenting your favorite wine at the table, refilling a glass bottle While also being able to remove the bottle to clean it for a different wine.

Or to put the leftovers in the fridge.
